History

With over 50 years’ experience in thermal equipment, AET Technologies is the European leader in furnaces for hot mechanical testing. From the design of the first creep machines to recent technological advances, AET Technologies is today the recognised specialist in creep testing machines. To reinforce our commitment to excellence and innovation, we have acquired the historic brands NorTest and ADAMEL.

UPGRADE YOUR EQUIPMENT

Our retrofit solutions for creep testing machines

Our retrofit solutions for ADAMEL creep machines involve upgrading critical components, such as temperature control systems, precision sensors (LVDT, capacitive, optical rule) and heating elements, to ensure performance in line with current standards (ISO 204). This approach extends the equipment’s operational capacity, improves test accuracy and ensures compatibility with real-time supervision technologies.

Thermal

Our replacement solution for creeping ovens allows you to work up to 1500°C, regardless of the original manufacturer.

Control and regulation

Function control, process regulation, recipe management, dynamic synoptic, traceability, recording, process data and fault management, maintenance.

Mechanical and sensor upgrades

Study and supply for the renewal of your creep equipment, management of sensor obsolescence (elongation, force cells, temperature, alignment, etc.).

Supervision

Command and control HMI. Control and centralise data from up to 20 machines on a single PC.

Decontamination

Decontamination of existing furnaces, treatment of waste classified as CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic, reprotoxic) by specialised circuits and replacement by materials not classified as CMR.

Spare parts

We supply customised and standard parts for your creep machines.

Expert in creep testing machines

Creep testing involves applying constant mechanical and thermal stress to a material to evaluate its long-term behaviour. The deformation of a material induced during the constant maintenance of temperature and stress is called creep. This deformation is viscoplastic and time-dependent. Although creep is possible at all temperatures above absolute zero, this deformation is thermally activated, meaning that small variations in temperature lead to large variations in the rate of deformation.

Complies with ISO 204:2023 standard

We comply with this standard, which specifies the method for continuous or interrupted creep tests and, in particular, defines the temperature homogeneity to be respected.

Control command and supervision

The testing process on TCN creep testing machines is supported and managed by monitoring software, which also provides interactive, real-time control and monitoring of the tests.

Range of services

Our team of qualified technicians and engineers offers retrofits, preventive, predictive or corrective maintenance, digitisation of HMI control systems and customised or standard spare parts.

NEW EQUIPEMENT

Our solutions for hot creep testing

Our solutions for hot creep testing include a range of new equipment such as 1100°C tube furnaces, 1300°C and 1500°C creep furnaces, as well as TCN creep machines (10kN, 20kN, 30kN). Designed to meet the specific needs of hot mechanical testing, this equipment combines precision, robustness and compliance with ISO 204 standards. Thanks to advanced temperature control and real-time supervision systems, they guarantee optimum management of thermal cycles and maximum reliability for demanding applications.

This non-opening tubular air furnace reaches temperatures of up to 1,100°C. Specially designed for applications such as creep, tension and compression, it can also be used for heat treatments.
Equipped with an advanced temperature control system, this furnace offers optimum management of the processing and characterisation phases.

ADAMEL machines still account for the majority of creep machines in France. Our replacement solution for ADAMEL furnaces fitted to creep machines enables work to be carried out above 1100°C (the current limit for furnaces with long cycle times). The lanthanum chromite heating elements can be replaced without dismantling the load column, guaranteeing continuity of testing.

Universal opening furnace up to 1500°C for hot mechanical testing or other applications (option: hot opening). Our engineering expertise in heating, atmosphere management, vacuum management, mechanical transfers, automation and regulation means we can provide you with a solution perfectly suited to your needs.

The TCN creep machines (10kN,20kN,30kN) are available in 1,100°C or 1,500°C versions. Equipped with high-precision sensors (LVDT, capacitive, optical rule) and an advanced temperature control system, they offer optimum management in compliance with ISO 204 standards. Real-time supervision enables up to 20 machines to be controlled simultaneously.

1300°C Creep Furnace – ADAMEL Type

A technical solution that can operate on a 230V power supply without a transformer, reducing the cost of the electrical cabinet.

Compatible with ADAMEL furnaces

Adaptable to all creep machines with a minimum centre distance for subsequent installation of ADAMEL type furnaces (minimum 250mm between 50mm diameter columns) with mounting rings.

ISO 204-2023 standard

ISO 204:2018 specifies the method for uninterrupted and interrupted creep tests and defines in particular the temperature stabilities and temperature gradients to be respected.

Removable heating elements

The lanthanum chromite heating elements can be replaced in each of the 3 zones without dismantling the charging column and furnace, guaranteeing minimum downtime.

Innovative technology

The result of unique R&D work, lanthanum chromite technology can be used in applications up to 1750°C in air.

100% non-carcinogenic materials

Eliminates the risk of user exposure to a dangerous substance (Directive 97/69/EC).
All our furnaces are made from materials that are not classified as CMR.
